Resolution 11286 RESOLUTION NO. 11286
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA that it hereby formally express its appreciation
to the Miami Beach Sun, its management, and its entire staff
for their exemplary contribution to the welfare of the City of
Miami Beach by creating, transporting, and distributing to the
delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Atlantic
City gratuitous copies of a Special Invitational Issue of said
newspaper, thereby bringing to the receptive attention of said
delegates and the public generally the attractions and desir-
ability of the City of Miami Beach as the site for said Conven-
tion in 1968, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said newspaper and its said
personnel be and they are hereby commended for their said
public-spirited contribution to the civic benefit of the City
and its citi�:ens and residents.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1964.
