RESOLUTION NO. 11736
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA that Resolution No. 11617 reading as follows:
"WHEREAS, in order for the City of Miami Beach to
conform with certain requirements in applying for Fed-
eral financial assistance, with respect to damages in-
flicted by Hurricane "Betsy", it is necessary to desig-
nate an authorized representative of the said City to
execute the Project Application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that O. M.
Pushkin, City Manager of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and he is hereby authorized to execute,
for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
a public entity established under the laws of the
State of Florida, the Project Application to the
Governor of the State of Florida for certain Federal
financial assistance as set out under the Federal
Disaster Act (Public Law 875, 81st Congress; 42 U.S.C.
1855-1855g) . "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

Duffield, Acting City Manager of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and he is hereby authorized to exe-
cute, for and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, a public entity established under the laws of
the State of Florida, the Project Application to the
Governor of the State of Florida for certain Federal
financial assistance as set out under the Federal
Disaster Act (Public Law 875, 81st Congress; 42 U.S.C.
1855-1855g) . "
