Resolution 12284 RESOLUTION NO. 12284
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of September, 1967 the City of
Miami Beach entered into a Contract with Millman Construction
Company, a Florida corporation, for the construction of the
improvements designated Miami Beach Convention Hall Expansion;
and
WHEREAS, the said Contract provides that the City of Miami
Beach will assign its Contract dated August 29, 1967 with the
Centrifugal Refrigeration Machine manufacturer, The Trane
Company, a Wisconsin corporation, to Millman Construction
Company, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an Assignment of
the said Contract with The Trane Company to Millman Construction
Company, the City Council being familiar with the terms of said
Assignment, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
City of Miami Beach to execute the said Assignment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City
Clerk and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the said Assignment in the name of and on
behalf of the said City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of November, 1967.
