HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-513 H-513
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-513 Gary Avenue from Bruce Street to Raymond Street; Raymond
Street from Gary Avenue to Wayne Avenue; and Wayne
Avenue from Raymond Street to Seventy-third (73) Street,
to be paved and where heretofore paved to be repaved to
a width of 50' with a bituminous wearing surface on a
10" rock base.
Together with concrete valley gutters , necessary drainage,
sewer inlets , manholes and catch basins.
As said Avenues and Streets are shown on Plat recorded in
Plat Book Sixty (60) , Page Six (6) , of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , interest during construction, legal services , abstracts
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against eachfront foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-513 and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting Gary Avenue
between Bruce Street and Raymond Street, abutting Raymond
Street between Gary Avenue and Wayne Avenue, and abutting
Wayne Avenue from Raymond Street to Seventy-third (73)
Street.
The Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-513, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-513.
PASSED and ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF May, A.D. 1966.
