A RESOLUTION CANCELLING CERTAIN LIENS OF
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (H-517) AFFECTING
CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND ON THE WEST SIDE OF
COLLINS AVENUE , AND BEING PORTIONS OF ALTOS
DEL MAR NO. 2 , PLAT BOOK 4 , PAGE 162 , AND
CORRECTED PLAT OF ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1 , PLAT
BOOK 31 , PAGE 40 .
WHEREAS , by appropriate resolutions , the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach created that certain Highway Improve-
ment and Assessment District, to-wit, H-517 , and affecting
certain parcels of land on the west side of Collins Avenue and
being situate in ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 2 , according to Plat Book 4 ,
at Page 162 , and CORRECTED PLAT OF ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 1 ,
according to Plat Book 31, at Page 40 , and
WHEREAS , upon completion of the said Improvement,
Improvement Assessment Liens were certified on April 15, 1970 ,
against the following parcels , each parcel being assessed for
$287 . 30 , leaving a balance due for each parcel hereinafter
described of $57 .46 :
Lot 3 , Block 17 , CORRECTED PLAT OF ALTOS
DEL MAR NO. 1 , according to the plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 31, Page 40 , of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
Lot 4 , Block 13 , ALTOS DEL MAR NO. 2,
according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 4 , Page 162, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida,
and
WHEREAS , hereinabove described parcels of land were
the subject matter of that certain condemnation suit entitled City
of Miami Beach v. Kasdin, et al. , being Case No. 72-21184 , and
WHEREAS , said liens as certified should be cancelled of
record inasmuch as title to said parcels is now vested in the
City of Miami Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Highway Improvement liens
in Highway Improvement and Assessment District 517 on the
hereinabove described parcels , in the total principal amount of
$114 . 92 , be and the same are hereby cancelled and the financial
officer of the City of Miami Beach be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to make appropriate notation and record of such
cancellations in the appropriate records of the City of Miami
Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 11th day f December , 1974 .
