— Miami Beach Recognized as the Top Beach Destination —
Miami Beach, FL – Marking the end of a successful summer, Miami Beach has
garnered two top travel awards — North America’s Leading Beach Destination 2017
from World Travel Awards and Travel Weekly’s Gold Magellan Award for 2017 Best
Overall Beach Destination in the United States/Canada. The island-paradise remains the
it beach destination for both U.S. and international visitors.
“With our seven mile stretch of breathtaking beaches, we are honored to have been
recognized by these prestigious organizations,” said Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine.
“The selection committee undoubtedly scoured hundreds of shores from the Pacific to
