Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Designating 24 Street as Woman’s Way
— In Honor of the Miami Beach Woman’s Club —
WHO/WHAT: Following the devastating hurricane of 1926, Miami Beach’s most
renowned and influential women came together to spark neighborly
friendships and strengthen the community. Enriching our urban-island
with culture and comradery, the Miami Beach Woman’s Club was
established.
“The ladies behind the historic building on Collins Avenue have spent
decades helping build up Miami Beach to the world-class city we have
today,” said Miami Beach Commissioner Ricky Arriola. “In honor of their
unwavering dedication to the community, we will designate 24 Street as
Woman’s Way.”
WHEN: Monday, October 2 at 5:30 p.m.
Community forum to follow at 6 p.m.
WHERE: Miami Beach Woman’s Club
