•Weekend lane closures will be permitted on I-95 from 11 p.m. on Friday to 5:30 a.m. on Monday
•The contract documents allows for weekend closures on certain ramps

I-395 maintenance of traffic and schedule under review.
Initial bridge foundation work on I-395 will begin in March/April and will mainly be done outside of I-395
mainline travel lanes within FDOT ROW.
Open temporary, single lane westbound I-395 ramp to northbound I-95 in the summer of 2019 to
construct new ramp (estimated duration 18-20 months).
Closures on mainline I-395 to be done during off peak hours.
Team will coordinate with City Communications, Public Works, Transportation, CIP and other
Departments as needed.
Portable message signs to be placed well ahead of closures to provide advanced notification. Message
signs will be placed within City limits along Alton Road and 5 Street.

alternate routes;

thereby reducing secondary
