A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR EACH MEMBER
THEREOF AND FOR THE CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH DEPLORING AND CONDEMNING
THE BRUTAL AND ATROCIOUS PALESTINIAN ATTACK OF
MARCH 11, 1978 UPON INNOCENT ISRAELIS AND
EXTENDING DEEPEST SENTIMENTS OF MOURNING AND
CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILIES OF SAID
VICTIMS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, its Mayor and each and every individual
Commissioner for themselves and for and on behalf of the citizens
and residents of the City of Miami Beach that they and each of
them deplore and condemn the brutal and atrocious Palestinian
attack perpetrated on March 11, 1978 upon defenseless Israeli men,
women and infant children at Maagan Mikh'ael; that this unspeakable
' atrocity will be enshrouded in the annals of history as a. despicable
and unforgivable act of lawlessness and senseless brutality;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, its Mayor and individual members for
themselves and on behalf of all the citizens and residents of the
City of Miami Beach do hereby extend their deepest and heartfelt
condolences and expressions of sympathy to the bereaved families
of the martyred victims of said massacre;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, its Mayor and the individual members
thereof that copies of this Resolution and memorial be transmitted
to Prime Minister Menachem Begin with the respectful request that
the contents hereof be transmitted to each member of the families
so tragically bereaved.
