II. New Business Me
• City of Miami Beach Youth Commission website development – no progress and will be discussed
next meeting
• Civility Oath – members in attendance took oath
• Motion made for Student Art Exhibit

Motion Text:
The Youth Commission requests the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission support a youth art
exhibit at a City of Miami Beach public school within Miami-Dade County Public Schools during Art
Basel 2017 and have it promoted by the City of Miami Beach and utilize the $250 donation to off-set
any potential costs.
The Youth Commission urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.
