SUBJECT: Youth Commission Motions
The Youth Commission would like you to be aware of the following motions requesting support for
the distribution of information regarding the dangers of vaping and e-cigarettes and a bi-annual
youth job fair, approved at the January 29, 2019 youth commission meeting.

Motion Text:
The Youth Commission requests the support of the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission to
place promotional materials regarding the dangers of vaping and e-cigarettes in all public youth
recreation centers, as well as in public Miami Beach trolleys and bus stops.
The Youth Commission urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.

The Youth Commission requests the support of the Miami Beach Mayor and Commission to
administer a bi-annual Job Fair for the youth of Miami Beach, as the Youth Job Fair in January was
extremely successful and reached many students attending Miami Beach Senior High School.
The Youth Commission urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above request.
