Gonzalez ~, . ~ City Manager (1~ COMMUNITY NGISE POLICY WORKSHOP Date: July 17, 2003 At the July 7, 2003 City Commission meeting, the Commissioners asked that the Administration conduct a public forum on the City's Administrative Policy on the enforcement of Miami-Dade County Section 21-28, regarding noise. Following the workshop, the Commission expressed its desire to formally consider the policy and take definitive action. As we are currently in the summer season, it is the Administration's intent to schedule the Community Workshop as late in August as is practical so that we are as sensitive to residents summer/vacation plans as can be. Commission action would then be possible in one of the September Commission meetings which also allows for greater resident discussion and participation. Pending the communities and Commission's discussion on the procedural policy, it is the Administration's intent to utilize the draft policy so that some guidance is available and known to both residents and potentially affected businesses. c: Robert C.
