RESOLUTION NO. 80-16474
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
75-14786A, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 77-15487,
PROVIDING FOR EMPLOYMENT OF MARTIN GREENBAUM AS
ATTORNEY FOR THE PERSONNEL BOARD, SO AS TO INCREASE
ANNUAL SALARY FROM $8,400 to $9,600.
WHEREAS the Personnel Board of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, at its regular meeting of September 18, 1980, approved a
motion recommending that the salary of Special Attorney to the
Personnel Board, Judge Martin Greenbaum, be increased from $8,400
to $9,600 per year; and
WHEREAS, Commission Memorandum No. 8502 sets forth the
reasons for the actions of the Personnel Board in granting the
increase in the salary; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends approval of
the compensation adjustment as requested by the Personnel Board,
the effective date of same to be October 1, 1980;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that Resolution No. 75-14786A,
as amended by Resolution No. 77-15487, be and the same is hereby
amended so as to increase the annual salary from $8,400 to $9,600,
to be payable in equal bi-weekly amounts of $367.82.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of November , 1980.

SUBJECT: SALARY OF LEGAL COUNSEL TO PERSONNEL BOARD - JUDGE MARTIN GREENBAUM
The Personnel Board at its regular meeting of September 18, 1980,
approved a motion recommending that the salary of Legal Counsel
to the Personnel Board, Judge Martin Greenbaum, be increased from
$8,400 to $9,600 per year.
Judge Greenbaum has served as Legal Advisor to the Personnel
Board since August 6, 1975. Due to the large number of special
meetings and hearings of appeal, in addition to regular meetings
of the Personnel Board, it was felt that Judge Greenbaum is
entitled to a salary adjustment at this time.
