A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD SO AS
TO EXCLUDE FROM THE RM-100 (MULTIPLE FAMILY
MEDIUM HIGH DENSITY DISTRICT) AND TO INCLUDE
IN THE C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT)
PROPERTY SITUATE AT 6817 - 6895 HARDING AVENUE
AND LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS: LOTS 1, 2, 3 , 4 , 5,
6 OF BLOCK "C" OF CORRECTED PLAT OF ATLANTIC
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 9 , PAGE 14 ,
OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AND LOTS 19 , 20 , 21 AND 22, BLOCK 6 , 2ND OCEAN
FRONT SUBDIVISION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 28 , PAGE 28 ,
OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida is considering the recommendation of the Planning Board so
as to exclude from RM-100 (Multiple Family High Density District)
and to include in the C-1 (Neighborhood Business District) property
situate at 6817 - 6895 Harding Avenue and legally described as : Lots
1, 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6 of Block "C" of Corrected Plat of Atlantic Heights
Subdivision, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat
Book 9, Page 14 , of the Public Records of Dade County Florida,
and Lots 19 , 20, 21, 22 , Block 6 , 2nd Ocean Front Subdivision,
according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 28 , Page
28, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public Hearing for the
consideration of the aforementioned proposed amendment to said
Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held before the City
Commission in its Chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 2 : 30
P.M. , on the 15th day of April, 1981, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to publish appropriate Public Notice of
said Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place
all interested parties will be heard.
