A RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF PERMIT T FOR THE
SAND TIGIII'ENING OF THE NORTH JETTY AT COMCUT
IN CONNECTION WITH THE MEE COUNTY BEACH Elm ICT CONTROL
AND HURRICANE PROTECTION PROJECT, MP-54
MEREAS, the Metropolitan Dude County Department of
Environmental Resources Management has applied to the State of Florida
Department of Environmental Regulation for a permit for the Sand
Tightening of the North Jetty at Government Cut, and
before approval can be given by the State of Florida
for said permit, approval must be obtained from the City of Miami Beach
pursuant to Section 253.124, Florida Statutes, and
AREAS, a Biological Survey Report prepared by the State of
Florida, Department of Environmental Regulation is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, the contents of which are familiar to the City
Commission of the City of Miami Beach
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY W\4\II SS ION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that approval i s hereby granted
pursuant to Section 253.124, Florida Statutes, for the Sand Tightening
of the North Jetty at Government Cut.
