A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH AMERI CAN RENTAL ASSOCIATION
FOR THE USE OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH HALLS OF
THE MI AMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER AND THEI R
LOBBIES AND ALL MEETING ROOMS ON MARCH 11-20
(NORTH HALL) AND MARCH 12-20 (SOUTH HALL) , 1982
WHEREAS , the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
AMERI CAN RENTAL ASSOC!ATI ON
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach , to-wit :
NORTH & SOUTH HALLS OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER & THEI R LCBBI ES AND ALL MEETING ROOMS
for the event known as :
CONVENTION
on
NORTH HALL - MARCH 11-20 1982
SOUTH HALL - MARCH 12-20 1982
and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney , and
WHEREAS , the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City , and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July , 19 81 .
