A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ESTABLISH A
SPECIAL REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ACCOUNT TO
OPERATE A PROGRAM FOR EMERGENCY FOOD
ASSISTANCE, IF FUNDS ARE GRANTED BY THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA,
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends that the City apply for
grant monies from the Florida Department of Community Affairs for Emergency Food
Assistance; and
WHEREAS, a Special Revenue and Expenditure Account is required to be
established to facilitate the program, if the City is awarded the grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to establish one Special Revenue and Expenditure Account to be used to
operate the Emergency Food Assistance program, if the funds are granted by the State
of Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 1985.
