SUBJECT: Re-Opening of 21st Street Recreation Center
As the City Commission is aware, the re-opening ceremonies for the 21st Street Recreation
Center will be held on Saturday night, September 7, 1985 at 7:00 P.M. Immediately following,
and as a component of the opening ceremonies, there will be a social dance with a band.
Normally, an entrance fee of 5% per person, without an annual pass, is charged. Since we
anticipate a large attendance of citizens being present only for the re-opening ceremonies, and
to institute good-will on this grand occasion, it is recommended that all fees be waived on this
one night.
Administration Recommendation
The Administration recommends waiving the entrance fee at the re-opening ceremonies and
dance on September 7, 1985, at the 21st Street Recreation Center.
