A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT
TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND FRANKEL & ASSOCIATES, INC.
FOR HISTORIC CITY HALL.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ( "City" ) on March 16, 1987
entered into a Lease Agreement ( "Lease Agreement" ) with FRANKEL &
ASSOCIATES , INC . ( "Lessee" ) for the eighth floor and all or a
portion of the seventh floor of Historic City Hall located at
1130 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Lease Agreement to
correct the square footages to reflect actual square footage on
the floors, to clarify the responsibility for electrical service
to the floors and other matters; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to the Lease Agreement has
been negotiated, the City Manager has recommended its execution
and the City Attorney has approved it as to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk a r e
hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment to the Lease
Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and Frankel &
Associates, Inc. , correct the square footages and to clarify the
responsibility for electrical service to the floors and other
matters .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 1987 .
