A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING, ADOPTING,
AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE
BUDGETS FOR THE SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1987 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1988.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission hereby adopts the
FY 1987/1988 revenue and expenditure budgets for Special Revenue
Funds as listed below, with the monies therein be and the same,
appropriated in the scheduled amounts.
BE IT ALSO DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that all expenditures and/or
encumbrances on these funds must receive prior written approval
from the Office of Management and Budget prior to obligating the
City for any and all costs.

SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING, ADOPTING, AND APPROPRIATING
REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGETS FOR THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1987 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1988.
As in previous years, the City has a listing of programs, grants,
and related activities not considered in the General Operating
Budget . These programs are self sustaining, where revenues earned
support the expenses incurred. The attached listing reflects the
anticipated revenues and expenditures for special revenue
activities for the Mental Retardation program, Convention Center
Preferred Parking Lot, Bass Museum, and Recreation funds. The
programs are presented in this format with the understanding that
prior written approval for expenditures and encumbrances from the
Office of Management and Budget. OMB is responsible for
monitoring the activity in each of these areas, ensuring that
sufficient revenues have been received before costs are incurred.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the
attached resolution which approves and appropriates the special
revenue budgets totalling $1,492,317 for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 1987 .
