A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING TAX
EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON SUNSET
ISLAND II, ACQUIRED TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLIC
PARK SPACE.
WHEREAS, on July 29, 1988, the City of Miami Beach, Florida
acquired the following described property for pubic use:
That tract of land extending from 25th Street
to 27th Street in the center of Sunset Drive,
Island #2 and marked "Reserved" on the plat
of Sunset Island #2 , as per Plat in Plat Book
40 at Page 8 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach,
Florida herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of
date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to
Florida Statutes, Section 196. 28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its
County Manager, its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September , 1988 .
