RESOLUTION 88-19404 RESOLUTION NO. 88- 19404 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1891, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING (1) TO THE PROHIBITION OF LOCATING ADULT CONGREGATE LIVING FACILITIES ON THE OCEANFRONT AND BAYFRONT LOTS AND (2) THE REVIEW CRITERIA ITEM THAT DISCOURAGES THEIR LOCATION ON WATERFRONT PROPERTIES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT, WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach held a public hearing on September 29, 1988 and recommended that both the prohibition of locating Adult Congregate Living Facilities on oceanfront and bayfront and the review criteria pertaining to their location on waterfront lots be removed. WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly transmitted to the City Commission pursuant to Section 17. Changes and Amendments of Zoning Ordinance No. 1891. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing for consideration of the aforementioned proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held before the City Commission in its chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 11 :1.5 am on the 16th day of November 1988, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish appropriate Public Notice of said Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation of the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested parties will be heard.
