RESOLUTION 89-19540 RESOLUTION NO. 89-19540 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA REQUESTING TAX EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1035 COLLINS AVENUE, MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACQUIRED IN LIEU OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS TO BE INSTITUTED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA FOR PUBLIC USE. WHEREAS, on February 2, 1989, the City of Miami Beach acquired the following described property for public use: Lot 13, Block 15, Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 2, page 56, in the Publ i s Records of Dade County, Florida. Also known as 1035 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 196. 28 . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its County Manager, its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector.
