A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONS, INC. FOR
THE USE OF HALLS C & D IN THE STEPHEN MUSS
CONVENTION CENTER JULY 1-14 , 1990.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONS, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS C & D IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
JULY 1-14, 1990
for the event known as
MIAMI 'S SUMMER BOAT SHOW
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.

DATES : JULY 1-14, 1990
AMOUNT: The lessee hereby covenants and agrees to pay the
following minimum rentals , or such higher rentals
as shall become effective on or before 120 days
prior to the date lessee takes occupancy under this
lease; provided, however, that lessee' s obligation
with respect to such higher rentals shall be limited
to an increase of 12% over the following minimum
rentals :
55 per square foot per hall of net exhibit space
used with a minimum guarantee of $27,000.00 per hall
for a total of $54,000, plus Florida State Rental Tax,
which is currently 6%.
RATE: COMMISSION APPROVED
ADDITIONAL Box Office Charges - if used - $40 per day which includes
CHARGES: one person for supervisory purposes only.
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with Executive Promotions, Inc. for
RECOMMENDATION: payment of 55 per square foot per hall of net exhibit
space used with a minimum guarantee of $27,000. 00 per
hall for a total of $54,000, plus Florida State Rental
Tax, which is currently 6%.

Commission. Also, please certify to the City
Manager that all documents included herein are in
accordance with all City regulations.
I concur with the terms of this lease and
recommend its approval .
