RESOLUTION 89-19636 RESOLUTION NO. 89-19636 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT WITH BARON ANTIQUE SHOWS, INC. FOR THE USE OF HALL C IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER NOVEMBER 14-19, 1990. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been advised that BARON ANTIQUE SHOWS, INC. desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit: HALL C IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER on NOVEMBER 14-19, 1990 for the event known as ANTIQUE SHOW AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and approved as to form by the City Attorney, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to author .ze the execution of the said lease agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above- described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the City. EVENT: ANTIQUE SHOW DATES: NOVEMBER 14-19, 1990 AMOUNT: The lessee hereby covenants and agrees to pay the fol lowing minimum rentals, or such higher rentals as shall become effective on or before 120 days prior to the date lessee takes occupancy under this lease; provided, however, that lessee' s obl i gat ion with respect to such higher rentals shall be limited to an increase of 12% over the following minimum rentals: 55 per square foot of net exhibit space used with a minimum guarantee of $13,500.00, plus Florida State Rental Tax which is currently 6%. RATE: COMMISSION APPROVED ADDITIONAL Box Office Charge - i f used - $140 per day which incl udes one CHARGES: person for supervisory purposes only.
