A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH PRINTING INDUSTRY OF SOUTH FLORIDA,
INC. FOR THE USE OF HALLS A & B IN THE STEPHEN
MUSS CONVENTION CENTER JANUARY 15-22 , 1991.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
PRINTING INDUSTRY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS A & B IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
JANUARY 15-22 , 1991
for the event known as
GRAPHICS OF THE AMERICAS
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.

DATES: JANUARY 15-22, 1991
AMOUNT: The lessee hereby covenants and agrees to pay the
following minimum rentals or such higher rentals as
shall become effective on or before 120 days prior
to the date lessee takes occupancy under this lease;
provided, however, that lessee' s obligation with
respect to such higher rentals shall be limited to
an increase of 12% over the following minimum rentals.
55 per square foot per hall of net exhibit space used
with a minimum guarantee of $27,000.00 based on $13,500.00
per hal l , plus Florida State Rental Tax, which is currently
6%.
RATE: COMMISSION APPROVED
ADDITIONAL NONE
CHARGES :
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with Printing Industry of South Florida, Inc.
RECOMMENDATION: for payment of 55c per square foot per hall of net exhibit
space used with a minimum guarantee of $27,000. 00 based on
$13,500. 00 per hal l , plus Florida State Rental Tax, which is
currently 6%.

accordance with all City regulations.
I concur with the terms of this lease and
recommend it approval .
