A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF SHOPPING
CENTERS FOR THE USE OF HALLS A, B, C & D IN THE
STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER OCTOBER 31-NOVEMBER
11, 1991.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF SHOPPING CENTERS
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALLS A, B, C & D IN THE STEPHEN MUSS CONVENTION CENTER
on
OCTOBER 31-NOVEMBER 11, 1991
for the event known as
NATIONAL DEAL MAKING CONFERENCE
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Stephen Muss Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement and deems
it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and that the
Stephen Muss Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.

AMOUNT: 145 per square foot of net exhibit space used with a
mini mum guarantee of $12,000.00 per hal 1 , based on
$4,000. 00 per hall per day, plus Florida State Rental
Tax, which is currently 6%.
RATE: COMMISSION APPROVED
ADDITIONAL NONE
CHARGES:
ADMINISTRATION Approve contract with International Counci 1 of Shopping
RECOMMENDATION: Centers for payment of 45c per square foot of net exhibit
space used with a minimum guarantee of $12 ,000.00 per hal 1 ,
based on $4,000.00 per hal 1 per day, plus Florida State
Rental Tax, which is currently 6%.
