A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ELECTRICAL
CONTRACT WITH EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION
SERVICES, INC. FOR THE USE OF HALL B IN THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER JANUARY 11-16, 1990.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
desires the right to set up electrical equipment in certain
premises and facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
HALL B IN THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on
JANUARY 11-16, 1990
for the event known as
FINE JEWELRY, FASHION JEWELRY AND RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate electrical contract has been
prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved
as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said electrical contract and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of the said electrical contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described electrical contract on behalf of the City, and that the
Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of December , 19 89 .

Attached is electrical contract in triplicate with
Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services , Inc . for payment
of $200 or 15% of gross receipts for the right to set
up electrical equipment in Hall B in the Miami Beach
Convention Center for Fine Jewelry , Fashion Jewelry and
Related Products and Services .
If the form of this agreement meets with your approval ,
will you kindly prepare resolution authorizing its
execution by the City and forward to the City Manager
for presentation to the City Commission .
I concur with the terms of this contract and recommend
its approval /
