A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 89-19811 TO CHANGE THE DATE OF
THE PUBLIC HEARING CALLED TO CONSIDER AMENDING
THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO INCLUDE THE
SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD PLANS FOR DISTRICT NOS. 1
AND 2 TO JANUARY 17, 1990.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 89-19811 set December 6, 1989 as the date
for a public hearing for the consideration of an amendment to the
City' s Comprehensive Plan to include the provisions of the Safe
Neighborhood Plans for Neighborhood Improvement Districts Nos. 1
and 2 and;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes Chapter 163 , the Planning
Board must make a ruling on the consistency of the Safe
Neighborhood Plans with the City' s Comprehensive Plan prior to the
plans being considered as an amendment to the City' s Comprehensive
Plan and;
WHEREAS, the Planning Board is scheduled to meet during the first
week of January, 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the public hearing for
consideration of the aforementioned amendment to the Year 2000
Comprehensive Plan and its transmission to the State Department of
Community Affairs is hereby rescheduled to be held before the City
Commission in its chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at 5 p.m.
on the 17th day of January, 1990 and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to publish in a newspaper of general
circulation of the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all
interested parties will be heard.
