The Museum's own building is on the National Register of Historic Places. Museum staff and faculty from the magnet school will develop a curriculum to be taught to ninth and tenth graders attending the magnet school. The students will study the Museum's collection of architectural drawings and develop their own responses to the design problems raised. They will also reconsider the Bass Museum's building in its original use as a city library and adapted use as an object lesson in architectural reuse; and its architectural plans for expansion. Some students will participate in a two-week training period when they will train as docents to serve on weekends during the school year conducting tours of the deco district neighborhood, museum' s architecture collection and relevant exhibitions for the public in English, Spanish and French. The curriculum developed will become standard for the school and will be repeated annually. 10.
