A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING CITY
ADMINISTRATION TO INCLUDE RELEVANT COMMUNITY
SATISFACTION SURVEY RESULTS IN MEMORANDA TO THE
MAYOR AND THE CITY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, since 2005, the City has engaged professional consulting companies to
conduct Community Satisfaction Surveys to a statistically valid sample of residents and business
in the City of Miami Beach to gauge community satisfaction levels corresponding with the strategic
priorities set forth in the City's Vision; and
WHEREAS, the Community Satisfaction Surveys enable the City to make data-driven
decisions regarding the City's basic services and strategic initiatives, thereby allocating resource
to priorities identified by community stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, inclusion of relevant Community Satisfaction Survey results from the last five
(5) years into memoranda prepared for the Mayor and City Commission will enable the City
Commission to make data-driven decisions for the welfare, health, and safety of the City's
residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and City Commission
hereby direct City Administration to include relevant Community Satisfaction Survey results in
memoranda to the Mayor and City Commission.
