A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA SETTING A DATE AND
TIME FOR HEARING AN APPEAL OF A
PLANNING BOARD DECISION WHICH DENIED
A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE
A COMMERCIAL VALET PARKING LOT AT
639 EUCLID AVENUE.
WHEREAS, an application was submitted to the Planning, Design
and Historic Preservation Division for a Conditional Use Permit to
operate a commercial valet parking lot at 639 Euclid Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on March 30, 1993 a public hearing was held by the
Planning Board regarding the request, after which the Board voted
4-2 to deny the requested Conditional Use Permit; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has appealed the Planning Board' s
decision to the City Commission pursuant to Section 17-4G of the
City' s Zoning Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17-4G of the City' s Zoning
Ordinance the Mayor and City Commission must hear the applicant' s
appeal and render a decision regarding this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
City Commission will consider an appeal of a decision of the
Planning Board denying a Conditional Use Permit to operate a
commercial valet parking lot at 639 Euclid Avenue in their chambers
on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive,
Miami Beach, Florida, on July 14 , 1993 , beginning at 10:30 a .m.

SUBJECT: RESOLUTION SETTING DATE AND TIME FOR APPEAL OF PLANNING
BOARD DENIAL OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR 639 EUCLID
AVENUE
Pursuant to Subsection 17-4G of the City's Zoning
Ordinance, decisions of the City's Planning Board regarding the
granting or denial of Conditional Use Permits may be appealed to
the City Commission. On March 30, 1993 the Planning Board denied
a Conditional Use Permit for operation of a commercial valet
parking lot at 639 Euclid Avenue. Pursuant to Subsection 17-4G,
the applicant for the Permit has appealed the Planning Board's
decision to the City Commission. The Mayor and City Commission are
now required to hear the appeal and render a decision regarding
this matter.
The attached Resolution will establish a date and time
for consideration of this appeal.
