Motion Text:
The Miami Beach Committee for Quality Education requests an investigative study
of the possible impact to traffic and congestion should the start time be moved at
Miami Beach Senior High School, as currently being discussed by Miami -Dade
County Public Schools agenda item D68 (November 20, 2019). Further, the
Committee requests that data supporting a later school start be distributed. Lastly,
the Committee kindly requests the information to be returned to the Committee no
later than January 2020.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and Commission to support
the above request.
