Question 3: Why we can't keep the level of clean up and security year round so as not to have

demand placed on these services. However, efforts from Code Compliance, Parks Landscaping,
Parking Services, and Enforcement remain constant.
Question 4: Will we be doing the same level of work for the Boat Show and Pow Wow?
Answer: Yes, special attention will be given to these events, although they will be relative, in
proportion to the size of these events. Also, efforts to enhance Miami Beach in anticipation of
annual seasonal visitors are undertaken each year.
Question 5: Can we review the quality of some of the events which took place on Lincoln Road
and Ocean Drive during Super Bowl week, determine what our standards are and if specific
criteria needs to be added.
Answer: The following suggestions are recommended:
1 )Further limits on the number of events per night
2) Stricter enforcement of event sites via Police coordinators
3) Stricter enforcement of club capacities by the Fire Department
4) Enforcement of the Promoter Ordinance
5) Prohibition of events requiring street closure.
