City of Miami Beach Urges Senior Communities to
Implement CDC Guidance
–In an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus–
Miami Beach, FL – Today, the City of Miami Beach has revised its Emergency Order to
urge retirement communities and independent living facilities (including residential
buildings that are age-restricted and/or contain a majority of residents who are over the
age of 55 and are fully or partially retired), to implement the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC) Guidance on preventing the spread of COVID-19 in their
buildings.
