Unfortunately, there is a perception among some of those that visit us that our City is a place where “anything goes”. The Miami Beach Police Department has organized a dedicated group of department personnel and assets to change this narrative. For the next two months, effective November 30th the Department will deploy additional personnel into the ADCD to focus specifically on a myriad of activity. The following are those assets: •The Robbery Squad o Supplemented periodically by the Miami Dade County Robbery Interdiction Detail (RID) •The Crime Suppression Team (CST) •The Strategic Investigations Section (SIS) •The Traffic Enforcement Team •Dedicated K9 assets •A Proactive Patrol Enforcement Team (Strike Team) •Patrol Officers focused on fixed posts and high visibility in problem areas (Afternoon and Midnight Shift uniform personnel)
