The Urban Environment League (UEL) will be hosting a seminar titled "The Art of Affordable
Housing in Neighborhood Preservation" on Friday, October 31 st, at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral,
1545 North Bayshore Drive, Miami. The seminar will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Afterwards, from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be a bus tour showcasing successful affordable
housing initiatives in Miami and Miami Beach. The tour will stop for a picnic at Stillwater Park in
Miami Beach at approximately 12:30 p.m. The cost of attending the event is $15 per person and it
includes breakfast and lunch. Space is limited and reservations are required.
The City has collaborated with the UEL in coordinating this event. Therefore, the UEL is providing
complementary invitations for members ofthe City Commission. For additional information on how
