Culture Crawl is a monthly occurrence, taking place on the third Thursday of each month through May,from 6:00 -9:00 PM, and offers complimentary virtual and in-person admission to some of the nation'smost prestigious institutions with unique and varied programming, which will change each month. TheTourism and Culture department works directly with each cultural institution, to help produce specificprogramming, including open studios and galleries, outdoor films, exclusive tours, night gardens, andfree trolley service throughout South Beach.
The re-launch of Culture Crawl season on Thursday, January 21, 2021, will welcome residents andtourists to an evening filled with diverse and exciting programming. Participating organizations willpresent a selection of activations, including ScreenDance Miami presented by Miami Light Project at theNorth Beach Bandshell, a mini WALLCAST concert in SoundScape Park, a night of live Jazz at TheBetsy, a sound picnic by Frozen Music at the Botanical Gardens and an outdoor video installationpresented by FIU-Miami Beach Urban Studios.
The majority of the programming is accessible virtually, by foot and by bike, but will offer two dedicatedfree trolleys (the white ones) that will drop you off and pick you up at our dedicated Culture Crawl stops.A full listing of the January 2021 Culture Crawl programming, along with a map of trolley stops, can befound at mbartsandculture.org.
