A RESOLUTION OF. THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING TAX
EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4000 ROYAL
PALM AVENUE, 4011 PRAIRIE AVENUE, 4001 PRAIRIE.
AVENUE, 525 W. 40TH STREET, 4049f ROYAL PALM AVENUE
AND 4015 ROYAL PALM AVENUE, MIAMI BEACH,
ACQUIRED THROUGH EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
INSTITUTED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, FOR PUBLIC USE:.
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1986, the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, acquired for public use the following described property:
Lots 1, 2, 10, 11, and 12, Block 55, Orchard
Subdivision Nos. 2 and 3 , According to the
Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 8, at
Page 116, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida; and,
Lots 14, 15, and 16, Block 54 , Orchard
Subdivision Nos. 2 and 3, According to the
Plat thereof,, as recorded in Plat Book 8., at
Page 116 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA . that the City of
Miami Beach, ' Florida, herewith formally requests exemption from
taxes asof date of acquisition of the property herein set forth,
pursuant to Florida Statutes, §196.28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this
Resolution be transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County
Commission, its County Manager , its Tax Assessor and its Tax
Collector.
