RESOLUTION NO. 86-18589
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY. MANAGER TO ESTABLISH A SPECIAL
REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ACCOUNT TO OPERATE THE
PROGRAM TO REVISE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, IF FUNDS
ARE GRANTED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS.
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends that the City apply for grant monies
from the Florida Department of Community Affairs for Local Government Comprehensive
Planning Assistance Funds; and,
WHEREAS, a Special Revenue Account is required to be established to facilitate the
program, if the City is awarded the grants.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to establish one
Special Revenue and Expenditure Account to be used to operate the program to revise the
Comprehensive Plan, if the funds are granted by the State of Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, that an appropriation in the amount of the final award be made to these
new accounts accordingly.
