Resolution 86-18666 ' r 3 RESOLUTION NO. 86-18666 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONCESSION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND SHELBORNE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR RENTAL OF BEACH EQUIPMENT, WATER RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT WITH FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE ON THE BEACH AT THE 18TH STREET STREET END; AND APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT OF SHELBORNE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION'S INTEREST IN THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT TO ART DECO BEACH CONCESSIONS, INC. WHEREAS, the City Administration , through the Department of Purchasing and Property Management solicited a Request for Proposal ( 127-85/90) for the Operation of Concessions on the beach at the 18th Street street end ; and WHEREAS, a Proposal was received from Shelborne Development Corporation ; and WHEREAS, an appropriate Concession Agreement has been negotiated and the City Manager has recommended its execution and the City Attorney has approved it as to form; and WHEREAS, Shelborne Development Corporation has requested that the City approve an assignment of its interest in the concession agreement to Art Deco Beach Concessions , Inc . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Concession Agreement between the City of Miami Beach and Shelborne Development Corporation for Rental of Beach Equipment , Water Recreational Equipment , with Food and Beverage Service on the beach at the 18th Street street end, and to execute the consent to the assignment of Shelborne Development Corporation ' s interest in the concession agreement to Art Deco Beach Concessions , Inc . .
