A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ALLOWING THE
TRANSMITTAL OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS PURSUANT TO THE
STATE OF FLORIDA COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING AND LAND
DEVELOPMENT ACT PERTAINING TO PROPERTY BETWEEN
COLLINS AVENUE AND HARDING COURT FROM 76th TO 79th
STREETS BY REMOVING SAID PROPERTY FROM THE
RESIDENTIAL 0-24 UNITS/ACRE LAND USE CATEGORY AND
PLACING SAME IN THE RESIDENTIAL 25-60 UNITS/ACRE LAND
USE CATEGORY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the. City of Miami Beach, Florida held a public
hearing on September 23, 1986 in which the Board unanimously recommended that the
Comprehensive Plan be amended by removing the subject property from the Residential 0-24
units/acre land use category to the 25-60 units/acre land use category.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, following a public hearing on November 19, 1986 for
purposes of considering whether the proposed amendment should be transmitted to the State
pursuant to the State of Florida Comprehensive Planning and Land Use Development Act,
voted (6-0) to transmit said amendment to the State of Florida Department of Community
Affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach transmit the proposed Ordinance amending the City's Comprehensive Plan to the
State of Florida Department of Community Affairs pursuant to the regulations as set forth
in the State of Florida Comprehensive Planning and Land Use Development Act.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 1986.
