The City of Miami Beach Parking Department in conjunction with the CIP (Capital
Improvements Projects) Department is holding a Workshop to receive public input and
comment regarding the proposed parking lot at 137 Washington Avenue. The City's HPB
(Historic Preservation Board) requested that the Administration hold this workshop, as part
of their review of the Administration's submission for a Certificate of Appropriateness.
The attached notice has been sent to all Residential Zone One (South Pointe) participants,
all property owners on the city's database, and all petitioners on the petition submitted by
James Valentine (that were leqible). The City's Parking Department and CIP Department
will be in attendance to receive the community comments and respond to any questions.
The Workshop will be held at the First Floor Conference Room at 6:00 P.M. on
Thursday, January 8, 2004. If you should have any questions or comments, please

The City of Miami Beach Parking Department in conjunction with the CIP (Capital Improvements
Projects) Department is holding a Workshop to receive public input and comment regarding the
