Management and Operation of the Flamingo Park Tennis Center
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2021-188-WG, which seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing
professional tennis management and operations services for the Flamingo Park Tennis Center.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on May 24 , 2021. The responsive proposals w i ll be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP .
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• David Berger, Member, Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board ;
• Cindy Casanova , Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department;
• Zhaoming Guan, Recreation Superintendent, City of M iami;
• Lindsey Lovell , Board of Governors, Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce; and
• Stephanie Rosen , Vice-Chair, Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board.
I have also appointed the following individuals as a lternates:
• Todd Hofferberth , Director, Department Parks & Recreation, Village of Key Biscayne ;
• Christopher Hovde, Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator, City of Doral; and
• Col in Summers, Assistant Director, Cultura l and Community Services Department, City of
