SUBJECT: Cultural Arts Council Motion -June 10, 2021
The purpose of this letter to the Mayor and Commission is to provide an update regarding the
motion made during the June 10, 2021 Cultural Arts Council meeting:
1. Establishing the Temporary Art Installation Program
Referral from May 21, 2021 Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee
Motion to recognize the Cultural Arts Council supports establishing a temporary art
installation program and recognizes the economic benefits this program will bring to our

Support of the program should be revisited in the FY 22-23 budget cycle.
The above motion was approved unanimously. Cultural Arts Council members present
included Laurence Moser (Chair), Bruce Carter (Vice -Chair), Ray Breslin, Victoria Elliott,
Brian Erlich, Cheryl Jacobs, Tiffany Lapciuc, Vanessa Menkes, David Sexton and Rachel
