SUBJECT: PALM & TREE IMPACTS IN CITY PROJECTS UPDATE
The purpose of this L TC is to provide an updated list on the number of active capital
projects that could have an impact on palms and canopy trees as part of the
implementation.
On January 8, 2021, L TC #007-2021 was issued indicating 22 existing City capital
projects.
On April 13, 2021, L TC #159-2021 was issued indicating 25 existing City capital projects.
The list was updated with new active projects and the removal of completed projects.
As of June 22, 2021, there are an additional 13 projects that were not previously identified
as they have been in various stages of project development. The impact to existing trees
has not yet been determined. There are now 38 existing capital projects that may or may
not impact palms and canopy trees .
