Hudak, City Manager ~Ll=gtb~u DATE : 7/12/2021 I 7: 23 EDT 7AE29EF340 1349L SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2021-227-AY Pre- Employment Testing & Psychological Services for Sworn & Public Safety Personnel The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for Proposals (RFP) No . 2021-227-AY, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm to conduct valid, reliable and cross -cultural testing of police officer, police public service aide, detention officer, communications operator, police dispatcher, police complaint officer, firefighters and fire rescue dispatcher applicants. The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on July 15, 2021. The responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP. I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee: • Ramon Suarez, Administrator II , Human Resources Department, City of Miami Beach ; • Digna Abella, Deputy Chief, Fire Rescue Department, City of Miami Beach ; • Sonia Bridges, Division Director, Risk Management Department, City of Miami Beach ; • Elise Spina-Taylor, Lieutenant Police, Police Department, City of Miami Beach; and • Clarise Ferguson, Deputy PSCU Administrator, Fire Department, City of Miami Beach . I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates : • Wayne Jones, Ass istant Chief of Police, Police Department, City of Miami Beach ; and • Marla Alpizar, Assistant Director, Human Resources Department, City of Miami Beach.
