SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFQ) No. 2021-248-DF ,
for GPS Tracking System
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of
Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2021-248-DF, which is seeking proposals from qualified
contractors for Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking for City vehicles. The City is
currently using GPS Tracking in approximately 1,200 GPS devices and continues to add
more as the City 's fleet grows.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on September 29 , 2021 . The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria
established in the RFP .
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee :
• Carlos Berriz , Division Director , Facilities and Fleet Department ;
• John Sandbrook , Chief Information Security Officer, Information Technology
Department;
• Steven Pedroso , IT Business Analyst, Information Technology Department;
• Eric Garcia, Captain , Police Department ; and
• Robert Aragon , Claims Coordinator, Risk Management Division , Human Resources
Department.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates :
• Ozzy Macias , Senior Manager Enterprise System , Information Technology
Department;
• Javier Del Rio , Assistant Division Director, Facilities and Fleet Department;
• Adrian Morales, Director, Facilities and Fleet Department ; and
