Status of Motions discussed –
1. C7O Official Transcript funding Sept. 17 Commission
Agenda (Richardson) discussed
2. R7L Stop the Bleed Kits Sept. 17 Commission Agenda
(Steinberg) – Agreement executed and kits ordered.
Expected installation in January 2022 and staff training
early 2022
3. C4R 10/13 Rock Ensemble Referral to Finance January
meeting. Meeting is tentative Jan. 14
4. C4R Referral (Meiner) NQLC and C4AE Referral
(Richardson) MBSH Drop off and Pick Up – December
2021. On January 2022 agendas for PD.
5. R7U PreK (Samulian) – December 2021. Approved as a
permanent program beginning 23-24 school year with
$3,000 per child up to 158 families.

The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and City
Commission work with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the
City of Miami Beach Police Department to find a method that can get
correct and timely information to City of Miami Beach residents in
times of real-time emergencies and come back to the Committee for
Quality Education within two months with a plan.
The Committee for Quality Education urges the Mayor and
Commission to support the above request.
