SUBJECT: Events Taking Place During Formula 1 Weekend May 2022
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to provide you with the activation
schedule for Formula 1 Weekend in Miami Beach.
Event: FTX Off the Grid -Fan Fest
Date: Friday, May 6th -Sunday, May 8th
Time: 12:00 PM -11 :00 PM
Location: Oceanfront 6th-9th Streets
Description: The City-sponsored FTX and Mercedes-Petronas AMG fan fest will feature
a Mercedes Formula 1 car demonstration on Ocean Drive, Mercedes car displays, video
game lounge, fashion show, local professional sports teams activations, food, and
nightly concerts. Featured talent at the concerts include DJ sets by Disclosure,
Kaytranada and Jaime XX. On Friday May 6th , local residents receive a 10% off
beverages between 12pm-5pm . Proof of residency with an identification is required at
the point of purchase.
Event: Williams Racing Formula 1 Grand Prix
Date: Friday, April 29th -Saturday, May 7th
Time: 11 :00 AM -8:00 PM
Location: 846 Lincoln Road
Description: Pop-Up retail store for the Williams Formula 1 Team that delivers gamified
and personalized fan experiences, which includes FW 44 Show Car photo opportunities,
driver appearances, eSports simulator rigs and chances to win Grand Prix tickets.
Event: OHL x Formula 1 Car Installation
Date: Wednesday, May 4th -Thursday, May 5th
Time: 9:00 AM -8:00 PM
Location: Loews Hotel, 1601 Colline Avenue, Beachfront
Description: OHL Formula 1 Team car installation and spinning wheel for Formula 1
Race. The beachfront activations include a bar with seating area, DJ and a stage.
Event: Carbone Beach Club
Date: Thursday May 5th -Sunday, May 8th
Time: 7:00 PM -12:00 AM
Location: 1775 Collins Avenue, Beachfront
Description: Temporary beachfront Carbone Restaurant private activation with live
performances.
Event: McLaren Speedway
Date: Thursday, May 5th -Sunday, May 8th
Time: 7:00 PM -11 :00 PM
Location: 1111 Lincoln Road, 7th Floor
Description: Pop-UP car exhibition and event space for McLaren Formula 1 Team fans
and sponsors.
Event: Fontainebleau Formula 1 Weekend
Date: Friday, May 6th -Sunday, May 8th
Time: 9:00 PM -1 :00 AM
Location: Fontainebleau Hotel, 4441 Collins Avenue, Pool Deck
Description: The event includes three days of a 'fan fest' with live performances and a

Event: Red Bull Guest House

Description: Red Bull Formula 1 Team will be hosting day and nighttime events and air
show beachfront behind at the Faena Hotel.
Event: Formula 1 Miami Viewing Event

Description: Viewing Activation on Pool Area (large TVs).
Event: Formula 1 Demo Car Run
Date: Saturday, May 7th -Sunday, May 8th
Location: Lummus Park beachfront and Ocean Drive, 7th-9th Streets
Time: 11 :00 AM -11 :30 AM
Description: On Saturday and Sunday, a Mercedes-AMG Petronas Team Formula 1 car
will conduct a professional driver demonstration run on Ocean Drive.
